Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use TeachFolio, in Arabic and English, on a phone or a computer.

Standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Every main page is checked with automated tests (axe) in both languages at phone width, and the latest checks found no failures.

What we do

• Clear page structure with landmarks, a skip link and one main heading per page.
• Everything works with a keyboard and shows where the focus is.
• Text and status colours meet contrast requirements; statuses also use symbols, not colour alone.
• Touch targets are large enough on phones; pages reflow at 390 px without sideways scrolling.
• Arabic pages are fully right-to-left; motion is reduced if your device asks for it.

Known limits

Drag-and-drop upload also has a button alternative. Files that teachers upload (for example scanned PDFs) may not be accessible themselves. A full screen-reader review in Arabic is planned.
