Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait

Tag evidence to Qatar’s national school accreditation and teacher standards, Bahrain’s BQA school reviews, Oman’s framework for the teaching profession, or your school’s own appraisal form.

Overview

Each Gulf country evaluates schools and teachers in its own way. Qatar accredits schools through its national school accreditation and licenses teachers against national professional standards. In Bahrain, the Education & Training Quality Authority reviews schools against four aspects and ten standards. Oman launched a national school evaluation system in 2024 and links teacher ranks and licensing to a national framework for the teaching profession. In Kuwait, teachers are appraised through the annual performance report.

What they share is the need for organised, current evidence from every classroom, not a folder assembled the week before a visit.
