Overview
Private schools across the UAE are inspected against one unified framework of six performance standards, from students’ achievement to leadership and management. ADEK’s Irtiqa’a programme in Abu Dhabi uses the same standards, and KHDA’s quality assurance visits to Dubai schools return in 2026–27 with short notice.
Teachers are licensed against four professional standards: professional and ethical conduct, professional knowledge, professional practice and professional growth. Both call for evidence that is current and easy to find on the day.
